Issue of an order to Schamburg+Alvisse is conclusive evidence
of the Purchaser's acceptance of the SALE:Terms of Sale.
MATERIALS | The colours & finishes
shown on the SALE website are representative reproductions
only and may vary slightly in reality. Variations to fabric,
timber grain and material colours occur naturally and these
may be evident in the finished product. Please note that materials
have natural variations and similar finishes may display variation
from product to product. Moreover, if the products are purchased
in different periods, the elapsed time and climatic conditions
can cause variations in colour. Schamburg+Alvisse are not
resonsible for the suitability of finishes and fabrics supplied.
The purchaser must satisfy themselves that a product is suitable
for the intended purpose.
- Veneer (if not otherwise stated) is crown cut with a 30%
gloss polyurethane finish.
- Chromed metal finishes are not recommended for direct
exposure to air within 1000m of a marine coastline.
- Leather and fabric finishes are not recommended for exposure
to direct sunlight or heat.
CONDITION | All Listed products
are offered "as is" and Schamburg+Alvisse is not responsible
for any dissatisfaction with product type, colour, or condition.
The purchaser must satisfy themselves that a product is acceptable
"as is" for the intended purpose. Schamburg+Alvisse recommend
a physical inspection of a product before confirming an order.
If product compliance with a specific non-mandatory furniture
standard and/or an independent certification is required,
then it is the purchaser's responsibility to satisfy themselves
that a product is acceptable.
PRICING | Quoted prices are based
on the Purchaser's acceptance of the SALE:Terms of Sale. Listed
prices exclude delivery (which can be quoted separately) and
are exclusive of GST.
Pricing is Ex-Schamburg+Alvisse showroom (Surry Hills, Sydney)
and Ex-Schamburg+Alvisse warehouse (Alexandria, Sydney) unless
otherwise stated as Melbourne, Brisbane, etc.
Orders at this Clearance pricing can only be made via this
website.
QUOTATIONS | An issued SALE quote
is valid for three days (3) days from date of issue.
All prices are based on the quantities quoted. S+A reserves
the right to vary prices if products, quantities, or the SALE:
Terms or Sale are changed subsequent to a quotation being
issued.
ORDERS | A signed S+A Order Confirmation
must be returned to Schamburg+Alvisse to confirm an order.
It is the responsibility of the Accredited Client Representative
to determine all information on the Order Confirmation is
current + accurate. In cases where product must be made up,
a 50% deposit is required upon order placement, with the balance
paid in full before collection (or) delivery. S+A reserve
the right to vary terms or cancel orders where the deposit
is not received within three (3) days of the order date.
CANCELLATION | In the event the
Purchaser cancels an order prior to manufacture commencing,
the Purchaser agrees to immediately pay S+A a minimum fee
of 10% of the total order value, plus all additional administration
& other costs incurred by S+A. In the event the Purchaser
cancels an order during manufacture, the Purchaser agrees
to immediately pay 100% of material cost, plus a Pro-rata
(%) of all costs of manufacture completed at the time of cancellation,
plus payment of all additional costs incurred by S+A. This
total cost is to be set reasonably by S+A.
PAYMENT | All SALE orders must
be paid for in full prior to collection (or) delivery ; No
Accounts will not be offered. SALE Product cannot be reserved
and is sold on a first-in-first-served basis.
Payment can be made by the following methods:
- EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer
- Credit Card - Visa / Mastercard / Bankcard (over the phone
or in person)
- Cheque (by mail or in person)
- Cash (in person)
TITLE | All goods remain the property
of Schamburg+Alvisse (furniture) Pty Ltd until paid for in
full.
LEAD TIME | SALE items are normally
ex-stock and can usually be collected within 2 working days
(or) delivered within 1 week subject to receipt of payment.
Consequently, collection / delivery will be 2-6 weeks depending
of the level of completion required to assemble / make-up
a product. Confirmation of lead time is subject to final order
quantity and product availability at time of order. Schamburg+Alvisse
will not be liable for any claims arising from delay in delivery.
COLLECTION | Collection is from
the Schamburg+Alvisse showroom (Surry Hills, Sydney) or the
Source One warehouse (Alexandria, Sydney) unless stated as
otherwise located in Melbourne, Brisbane, etc. Collection
times are between 8:00am and 5:00pm eastern STD time. It is
adviseable to call the Schamburg+Alvisse representative before
collection to confirm a time.

Upon collection, the Purchaser accepts unconditional responsibility
for goods upon removal from Schamburg+Alvisse premises and/or
the premises (warehouse) of Source One. Removal from these
premises constitutes unconditional acceptance of the goods.
There is no allowance for crating or specialised packing of
goods or components. Schamburg+Alvisse are entitled to make
goods available for dispatch in an un-wrapped state. Crating
or special packaging must be requested by the Purchaser in
writing and may be supplied at an extra cost.
While representative product samples & pictorial depictions
are of fully assembled units, some units including but not
restricted to conference tables & large lounges, are supplied
semi-assembled to facilitate safe handling & transport. If
the Purchaser chooses to organise collection, the Purchaser
also assumes full responsibility, risk & costs for assembly
and installation of such semi-assembled goods unless Schamburg+Alvisse
has agreed in writing to carry out such works for an agreed
extra charge. Schamburg+Alvisse recommend that if the Purchaser
carries out their own delivery, the Purchaser commission Schamburg+Alvisse
to carry out required site assembly of semi-assembled goods.
Schamburg+Alvisse are not liable for incorrect transportation,
assembly or installation carried out by non-Schamburg+Alvisse
sub-contractors.
DELAYS + STORAGE | In the event
of delayed collection due to customer request, Schamburg+Alvisse
will hold the order in part or whole beyond the original date
free of charge for one week subject to payment having been
received in full. After this the customer will need to make
alternative arrangements for storage. Should Schamburg+Alvisse
be requested to store the goods . The Purchaser agrees to
pay a pro-rata storage fee of $75/month for every cubic metre
(m3) of the total invoice value of goods stored AND to immediately
pay 90% of the total value of goods.
DELIVERY | Schamburg+Alvisse can
arrange delivery for a fee to be confirmed with the size of
order and delivery address (location). Delivery charges allow
for one (1) weekday delivery to one (1) Metropolitan site
between 7.30am - 5.00pm. Deliveries to destinations outside
a Metropolitan area will attract an additional surcharge.
Charges exclude any allowance for working on a union controlled
site.
